417,00 € iva inclusa
Oil-on-board pictography "Essential" category. Original work: second half of the 16th century, Florence, Medici Villa La Petraia
Description
The work presents a perspective view of the Palazzo Pitti complex and the Boboli Gardens, depicted with geometric precision and topographical accuracy. The composition, enclosed in a gilded lunette frame, highlights the monumentality of the Medici palace in the foreground, with its imposing façade facing the viewer. Behind the building lie the gardens, laid out in a regular, axial structure typical of Italian gardens, with geometric flowerbeds, tree-lined avenues and wooded areas. At the centre of the scene, the green amphitheatre stands out clearly, aligned with the palace, symbolising the harmony between architecture and nature. In the distance, other structures and rolling hills can be glimpsed, contextualising the complex within the Tuscan landscape.

The solid wood frame is made as a single panel, hand-decorated, gilded with gold leaf and embellished with gold friezes, to which the panel is attached.
